Identifying a Plant

Snap Flora identifies plants from a single photo.

  1. Tap the center Scan button on the bottom bar to open the camera.
  2. Point your camera at the plant (a clear shot of a leaf or the whole plant works best) and tap the capture button. You can also pick an existing photo from your gallery.
  3. Crop the image to focus on the plant, then confirm.
  4. Snap Flora analyzes the photo and opens a Plant Details screen with the most likely match.

Tip: Good lighting and a focused, uncluttered background give the most accurate results.
